This was State Mandated and approved. The Council of the City of Minneola had no option for voting and approving the Waste Water Treatment Plant. David Yeager wasn’t even on the council then. It was under leadership of Glenn Irby.

The Mayor has 20 percent of any vote that passes council. He is not alone and does not make sole decisions.

Line 22: “Debbie Veit told of understanding Dave Sherrick’s viewpoint but suggested the previous councils had delayed too long to purchase available acreage along the turnpike and now the City of MInneola needs to go forward on a sewer plant.”

REF:Public record Council Meeting March 16, 2000 @ 7:00pm City of Minneola, Minneola Community Building.

Line 19-22: Matthew Johnson, resident asked why the City of Minneola was installing a sewer plant?
