David Yeager
David Yeager is involved with United Way for Lake and Sumter County. He is the President of HOA for Quail Valley, and President and Vice President for Kiwanis Club of Minneola. He was the Former Mayor of Minneola 1st term 2005, 2nd term 2007. His past accomplishments for Minneola include: Participant with Annexation of the land for Lake Minneola High School, and also bringing Grassy Lake Elementary to our community.
David Yeager was responsible for getting the Grassy Lake Elementary School site and $200,000 cash to have school constructed.
The Minneola Park and Ride was David Yeager’s idea. The land that was once used as a landfill is in the progress of being converted to a parking area for park and ride to Orlando so Minneola residents do not have to commute to Clermont’s park and ride.
Lake Minneola High School is here because of Yeager’s work in annexing the property and getting the land that was valued at $6 million.
David Yeager has sponsored the 24 Hour Cancer Walk with a $250 donation! He is also a big supporter of the Minneola Friends of the Library.
